WORK FROM HOME TIPS: Finding ways to stay productive will help you keep your work organized and your motivation levels high if you work remotely at your job or operate a business from home. And everyone working remotely for a job or an online business must figure out when and where to work and how to keep work and personal lives separate.
I must maintain the structure as an independent marketer with Pam’s Fabulous Sources. Visit I Am A Marketer.
In addition to this website, I’m the co-founder and CEO of R & R for Vets. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit helps veterans and their surviving spouses in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, who are in need by giving them roofs, ramps, and repairs inside their homes.
Additionally, I spend a few hours each month on the SFCC Veterans Legacy Grant Project.
I bring this up especially to illustrate my point. As you read this, you might be looking for solutions to your hectic lifestyle. Well, I’ve used my experience and training from my core marketing community to come up with a good solution. We are here to help! And this applies to everyone who works from home.
Like many of you, I have a house, gardens to take care of, a husband, and pets who compete for my attention. Furthermore, you may have children and grandchildren. There is much to be accomplished each day. My daily organization is, therefore, essential.
Setting an example, here are the three fundamental places to start.
Setting Goals the S.M.A.R.T. Way.
It might surprise you that my first point is about creating weekly, monthly, quarterly, six-month, and yearly goals. My goals are S.M.A.R.T. It’s a well-known method for assisting you in setting and achieving realistic goals. Its acronym is SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely).
Secondly, the Work from Home Tip is to use a Planner!
Get a planner if you don’t already have one.
I’ve created a digital planner to satisfy many of my requirements throughout the years. It’s a Work & Home planner that works for me. The six sections of my digital planner are day, time, meals, health & wellness, to-do list, and activities. Find, or create, a planner that works for you. And use your daily goals to get closer to a bigger weekly goal that will help you get things done.
Thirdly, My Work at Home Tip is the Importance of a Daily Routine.
I’ve learned that making and sticking to a daily routine can help you feel free, get things done, have fun, and realize your full potential.
Repetition is the key to forming healthy habits. A personal routine helps us create positive habits by repeatedly pushing us to perform the same actions. Following a routine enables us to develop habits that align with our objectives and desires, like brushing our teeth every morning.
Expect the following results when the structure is effective:
To begin, you will begin to achieve your objectives. This leads to increased self-esteem. You will reduce procrastination while also gaining momentum. You will prioritize and complete the most important tasks. The bottom line is that one feels a sense of accomplishment, especially when you recognize that you have surpassed your plan for the day.
Health & Wellness is a Personal Responsibility.
My planner includes a daily section for Health & Wellness.
Use any spare time during the day to establish a healthy routine.
While you do not need to incorporate hours of intense exercise, moving and staying physically active throughout the day is vital.
Each of us has unique goals, needs, desires, and resources. That is why we must create our routine after carefully deciding what we want to accomplish. The potential rewards outweigh the effort. It’s a new day, and it’s never too late to start your routine, which needs to be incorporated into your daily planner.
The Pandemic of Covid-19 Has Fundamentally Altered How People Work.
As a result, traditional jobs may no longer exist. Furthermore, according to new research, more than four million people have quit their jobs in the United States each month this year. And this record-breaking trend isn’t going away anytime soon.
A report from McKinsey & Co. says that about 40% of workers are thinking about leaving their jobs in the next three to six months.
